Huppa
The foremost idea of the Huppa kids’ clothes collection is to give kids practical and safe products for activities outside. In the Huppa collection, great attention has been paid to kids’ safety already in the individual details of the clothes. They have been designed with great emphasis on various reflectors, in order to ensure that the child is visible from all directions. The suitability of products for practical use is increased through the range of materials. The outdoors clothes are made of waterproof and “breathing” materials, with the critical seams taped over. The measurements allow for sufficient extra room, so that the clothes are comfortable for the kids to play in outdoors. Huppa products have a refreshing look and fit perfectly into the merry and playful world of kids.

The theme of the Huppa 2010 spring/autumn collection is Circus. The Huppa Circus travels to different countries, erects its striped tent and the show may begin. The clowns make the kids laugh, while trapeze artists and acrobats perform dizzying tricks. The horses are brightly decorated and the elephants are just wondrous. The lights shine, stars twinkle and the merry circus carnival draws you in. The aim of this theme for the collection is to add a little laughter and magic to the everyday life!

The colours of the new clothes collection are taken from the circus itself: yellow, green, blue, red, pink and violet. The patterns and other ornaments reflect the jolly world of circus. However, the products in the collection are still modern, fresh-looking and practical clothes for today’s kids.

Huppa Sport – for kids

The outdoors clothes in the Huppa collection have a thematic multicoloured elephant pattern. Elephants, horses and stars have been used as reflector elements. The material is pleasantly soft, with a structural surface and naturally waterproof and “breathing”. The hoods, sleeve-ends, flaps and trouser-legs have been designed to protect the child. The hoods are fastened with press-studs, so that the hood comes off easily, should it get caught on something in the midst of play. The inner lining has been chosen so that the clothes are comfortable to use. For colder weather, the collection offers clothes with fleece lining, while clothes intended for warmer weather have net lining. Trousers have removable and adjustable braces.

The boys’ clothes have a discernible jeans style flavour, while the girls’ clothes feature more frills.

Huppa accessories

Baby clothes feature galloping horses, manes flowing in the wind. For older kids, Huppa offers cool berets and lacy hats as well as stylish cap-hats. All the colours match the jolly world of circus of Huppa Sport and Huppa Casual.

Hu? Sport – for teenagers

As a new section, the Huppa collection includes HU?, which is designed for teenagers. The sizes in the collection are 140–170cm. A part of the HU? line also features the circus theme. However, the teenagers’ circus world has a more black-and-white and mysterious quality than that of the little kids. As the backdrop to this part of the collection, the audience can hear melancholy circus-related Indie music. Teenagers have their own style, which is built on the graphical and clear Fireworks pattern. This derives from the final stage of the circus show, when all the performances have been seen and it is time for fireworks. The pattern is suitable for both girls and boys. Black, white and grey are the dominating colours in the clothes designed for teenagers. A pinch of blue and red has been added here and there. These products have the same functional elements as the kids’ clothes. Reflectors have not been forgotten, but they are not as conspicuous than on small kids’ clothes. The influences of the general and street fashion are more clearly manifested in the HU? collection than in the kids’ line.
